Aino Lutter’s work is rooted in both traditional and modern methods of painting. After receiving a BFA in both Art Studio and Art History, she was extensively trained in classical drawing and painting techniques, followed up by workshops with internationally known modern masters in the U.S.A. Her subject matter and methods of painting range from meticulously painted still lives and portraits to fast and loose plein air paintings, which have been exhibited in many group and solo shows over the last 30 years. Her favourite quote about art is “If I could say it in words, there would be no reason to paint”.
